The POWEROAD CPLFP14BL is a 12V lithium motorcycle battery designed as a direct replacement for a wide range of traditional lead-acid batteries, including YB10L, YB12AL and YB14L series models. It is suited to many road, adventure, and touring motorcycles where higher starting power, reduced weight, and reliable performance are required.
Built using modern Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO₄) cell technology, the CPLFP14BL provides improved stability and safety compared with conventional lead-acid batteries, while significantly reducing overall battery weight.
Delivering 280 Cold Cranking Amps (CCA), the CPLFP14BL offers strong and consistent starting performance for larger-capacity motorcycles. With an energy capacity of 48Wh, it supports dependable operation when used and charged correctly with a lithium-compatible battery charger.
Weighing substantially less than a comparable lead-acid battery, the CPLFP14BL can reduce battery weight by up to 60%, helping to improve handling and reduce overall motorcycle mass.
This battery is constructed with all-brass terminals for excellent electrical conductivity and durability. The sealed, maintenance-free design contains no liquid acid, making it non-dangerous goods and suitable for courier delivery. The battery case is manufactured from flame-retardant material, offering improved heat resistance and durability in demanding riding conditions.
Designed as a direct size replacement, the CPLFP14BL allows straightforward installation without modification.

The POWEROAD CPLFP14BL lithium battery is backed by a 2-year manufacturer warranty, supported by JR Motorcycles. As with all lithium motorcycle batteries, periodic use and correct charging with a suitable lithium-compatible charger are required to maintain performance and service life. We recommend all motorcycle parts and batteries are fitted and tested by qualified professionals.
